Workshop: People Smarts For the Workplace
Workshop Overview:
To be successful at work and in play, people need to be People Smart! Being People Smart is all about understanding why people do the things that they do and knowing how to handle people’s communication and emotional needs. It’s about treating people the way they want to be treated. In “People Smarts for the Workplace,” participants use a relationship-building self-assessment tool called Everything DiSC for the Workplace®. Participants learn about the behavioral styles of Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness, and assess which styles drive their own needs, priorities, and communication style. Discover how to read people’s style’s with DiSC and learn to adapt your own communication style to get more buy-in, support, and results with the people you work with.
In this workshop, participants will learn:
- Apply the DiSC Behavioral Styles to increase trust with co-workers and clients.
- Apply DiSC to self-manage personal effectiveness.
- Learn to adapt communication styles to create outstanding customer service.
- Use DiSC to strengthen team dynamics and effectiveness.
- Apply DiSC to create a comfortable working environment that celebrates strengths and acceptance on differences.
In class time: 4- hours

Interested in Hosting A Workshop?
Want to request a specific date for a training workshop? We’ll submit a request to Workforce Development to schedule workshop dates that would work for your organization.
The following requirements are needed in order to host an ETF approved workshop:
1) Venue location & training date must be approved by the ETF office.
2) Training location must be ADA Compliant.
3) Workshop must be open to the public for 65% of the workshop seats.
4) Host company is allotted 35% of the 50 seat workshop which is 17 seats.
5) Employer will initiate request for training directly with TH!NK.
